Kansas born and bred filmmaker Kevin Willmott talks about his new film Jayhawkers.  Jayhawkers tells the story of Wilt Chamberlain's time in segregated Lawrence, Kansas in the 1950s.

 

Willmott also talks about his other recent film Destination: Planet Negro!, his background and other interesting topics.  

 

I first met Kevin about 15 years ago when I took a film class he taught at the University of Kansas.  Great guy, check out his work!  Thanks for listening.
